Fonó Café, a cozy diner during the day and a buzzing folk pub at night

We are open each weekday from 10 AM to the end of the night’s program. On Saturdays, we open at 6 PM the latest before the night’s concert. Sunday is a day off for all the Fonó team.

On weekdays from 10 AM, a variety of hot meals is available for lunch. Soup of the day can be matched with three different kinds of main courses. Our cuisine mainly features homemade style Hungarian meals, but there is always an option for those who prefer light lunches.

Our specialties are from the Carpathian Basin. Several of our guests buy these for take-away too.
We also have a wide selection of hot and grill sandwiches.

We try to meet all expectations from the frothy Italian-style cappuccino to homemade white coffee in jumbo mugs.
Our special honey-sweetened syrups are equally liked by children and their parents.

We take our wines seriously. We have good quality wines on tap, yet these are mostly used for spritzers. Wine gourmets may choose from a wide selection of premium Hungarian bottled wines.
Beers are available both bottled and on tap, and we have several kinds of good pálinka and other shots.

And last but not least: we love both Fonó and our work; all our new and returning guests can be sure to be greeted with a friendly service.
