Fonó provides great conditions for professional audio recording. The play room is the 200 m2 large, acoustically adjustable Fonó Great Hall itself, which is suitable for both daytime recording and multitrack recording of concerts at night, preserving the priceless moments that only come up during live performances.
We are happy to have recently formed a cooperation with Kultúrpart Studio, another recording studio located at the building of Fonó. Having a separate entrance and mixing room, Kultúrpart Studio can be contacted at www.kulturpartstudio.hu.
Audio engineers of Fonó Studio can also be hired for field recording. Equipment for such work include: a Yamaha 01v 96 digital mixing console, RME UFX and Fireface sound cards, an RME Octamic 2 preamp, DPA, Oktava, Rode, AKG, Shure, and Studio Projects microphones (24 channels, 24bit 96 Khz).
Other facilities include a cafeteria and lounge, a Rud Bach Sohn piano, a folk double bass and a small, four-and-a half-octave Bohák cimbalom.
